Fixing Mju 1
I got this Mju as a for parts camera (€5) to salvage the sliding door and clear cover for another camera. I would like to get this one to work as well.
It looks like the camera is unable to initialise.
The lens never extends, I am unable to change the flash mode or set a self timer and the camera never tries to wind film after the film door is closed.
When it's turned on, the top display says '0', the flash setting and the battery level. When pressing any of the buttons or opening the film door, the battery level is cleared, indicating the camera does recognise the inputs. When opening the film door, the '0' dissapears so the camera knows the door is opened. After closing the door, the '0' is displayed again. The camera doesn't try to wind. The rewind button also doesn't trigger anything.
Does anyone know what these symptoms might point to?
