After a few days of driving a 2022 CX30, I wanted to share our experience.

My husband had a near-fatal accident that totaled our 2021 CX9, leaving us with the option of replacing it. However, we couldn’t afford it at the time. Despite this setback, we’ve always been fond of Mazdas.

Initially, the CX30 wasn’t a top priority for us. We considered it too small compared to our previous CX9. However, we were pleasantly surprised by its exceptional handling.

The steering is sharp and precise, while the suspension provides a sporty ride without being harsh. The shifting and transmission feel smoother, and we feel safer when braking, as the car nose doesn’t dive as much during panic braking.

While we may have sacrificed some comfort in the second row, we gained more in terms of handling and overall driving satisfaction.

Honest to say, if we had the chance to make a choice again, we would likely opt for another CX30 or a CX5.
