Applying with A-Level
I'm planning to apply to bachelor of engineering (robotics and mechatronic) as domestic student with A-Level.
I took 4 A-Level subjects (physics, computer science, math, chemistry) and estimated to get A*, A*, A, D (I completely butchered chemistry I hate this subject sm)
From the website I saw that entry requirement for A-Level is 16 for best three or four A2 subjects.
I'm confused whether the four grades I got will be accumulated up to 19 and compared with 16 (if so taking best four subjects is clearly advantageous) or will the entry requirement changed to be higher than 16 for four subjects? If so would the D I got completely dropped me down?
Also even if I got higher than the entry requirement, do I still have to compete with other applicants?
