Geopolitical & Financial literacy in the Ummah
As-salamu Alaykum dear brothers and sisters.
I apologize in advance for the long post, but I sincerely believe it can be of value for everyone looking to strengthen their geopolitical and financial literacy.
The past couple of years I've found myself drowning in a sea of informational warfare, both across traditional MSM and social media platforms such as X (formerly twitter). With recent AI developments, its felt like swimming with boots on - constantly grasping for land to rest on.
Then I saw land, or rather filters for the noise. In a geopolitical landscape, it is often difficult to navigate towards truth, and worse even to find the real truth, hidden in the portrayed one.
I'm sure many of you know of brother Shahid Bolsen, and his community Middle Nation.
He's a geopolitical analyst/commentator I strongly recommend watching/reading, both on X, Youtube (video format), and if interested his Telegram group.
Another amazing muslim brother is Evanwritesonx (only found on x/twitter). He's not a public figure, and wishes to keep his identity private. But his geopolitcal and financial assessments are astonishingly good and thorough.
The latter has also created an independent research community called Cold State Capital, a space dedicated to genuine geopolitical and financial literacy, built on deep analysis rather than hype or empty speculation. It is not strictly for muslims, but it is managed by muslims - and has a lot of fellow muslims as part of the community.
Its not a trading signals group, a get-rich-quick scheme, or a course being marketed to you. It's a community created with one intention: to make high-quality, institutional-grade geopolitical and financial analysis accessible to everyday people. The kind of rigor usually locked behind Bloomberg terminals or expensive consulting retainers.
There is unfortunately an entry fee to Cold State Capital (3$ for Geopolitical access, 5$ for Geopolitical + Financial access including market lessons, stock analysis, and data terminals), and it exists solely to cover the operating costs of the massive data APIs it relies on as well as developing new features. Nothing more. I do not have a referral code, or link to profit of this. I am just presenting it and then you can decide for yourselves.
The community approach to investing is deliberately disciplined: long-term, deeply researched, and restricted to a maximum of 10 stocks at any time—each one cross-checked through multiple valuation models before ever being considered.
If you've ever wanted to understand how global events shape markets, or to develop genuine financial literacy rooted in patience and method rather than impulse, you might find a home there.
I am deliberately not posting any links, this isnt a recruitment ad, but if you look them up on platforms i mentioned, you will find your way if you're interested.
May Allah bless your pursuits, and may any knowledge we share be of benefit.
Edit: Clarification regarding the entry fees.
