My mom has been stay at home and lived off my dad’s alimony for most of my life. My dad has recently stopped working (he never said a word about it and this came as a complete shock to us) and I don’t make enough money to take care of her on my own. She uses a walker and has diabetes, but she still for the most part has her faculties about her.
