I’ve been taking ASL 101 my local cc this past semester. There is a lot I’ve liked about the experience: I think ASL is fun and the professor - at least in person - is kind and encouraging. The problem is that she can also be super disorganized. Got a question outside of class? 99% of the time she won’t answer your Emails. Over the course of the semester, we’ve had to film ourselves signing and submit via canvas. Not my favorite thing in the world, but doable. The problem is that she is also slow to grade stuff. I just got a message late last night that she tried to grade the very first video I submitted- back in FEBRUARY- and my file wouldn’t open on her computer. Now I’m terrified that all the other videos I’ve submitted since are going to have the same issue. I sent her an Email asking if she was able to open the other videos I submitted. Has she responded? Nope.

We have our final tomorrow (Tuesday) and I’m planning on leaving for vacation on Wednesday. It’s unlikely that I’m going to be able to re-film things if she can’t open the other files I submitted. So here I am wondering how badly my grade is going to tank if I end up with 0s.
