¿Se va a recuperar?

¿Se va a recuperar?

They gifted me this hydrangea (my first one). It was watered the day they gave it to me (Sunday). On Monday morning I placed it next to a window so it could get light but not direct sunlight, and I didn’t water it because the soil was still moist. That night I noticed it looked a little droopy, but the soil still didn’t feel dry, and I thought watering it two days in a row would be too soon. By the third day it looked much more wilted, so I moved it outside, but honestly I forgot to water it. I went to work, and it’s possible it got direct sunlight where I left it. Today it looks like this: many leaves are so dry that they crumble apart. I already watered it and the soil is moist now. I’ve already given up on the bouquet it had, but I hope the new flower blooms that were starting to grow can still be saved. Is it okay? Will it recover?
