I do not have a weight loss rider on my insurance plan so getting Zep was never going to happen. I knew that the only way forward was to get a formulary exception for Mounjaro. It has been a long battle, of denies and appeals, but today the battle was won!

The stress of not knowing the future of compounding pushed me into this fight because I know it’s a lifetime drug for me. I am at my desired BMI and have been maintaining since December - I am grateful that I don’t need to worry about tapering off now. It’s was silly to cry but I was so relieved.

If you can, fight like hell.
