For anyone disappointed that there’s no split screen mode/couch co-op mode on PS5 for this game, I found a work around. If you have a PlayStation portal and a PS plus premium account where you have purchased and can stream 7 days, then you can pull this off. You have to create a PlayStation account for the 2nd player, and then add each other as friends. The portal streams remotely and hosts a password protected multiplayer server visible to friends, and the PS5 console player joining from the console library will be able to join that game!

I don’t know if this is common knowledge already, but I didn’t find it by searching. The same setup is possible with PC/PS5, but in my case, they’re in two separate rooms.
