Heyo👋 hope all this well. I've spent literal months pinpointing & solving various issues with this, but I found this one particular issue that I couldn't figure out & I FINALLY had the bright idea of asking here.
I'm having an issue with the honey walls in my storage room. Specifically, the honey wall in the equipment section where I have stuff like warding trims & enchanted weapons/armor/tools/books/arrows (I have the items in my chests organized in sections, with a honey wall behind it that has items that correspond with said section flowing down it).
The system that the items flow through is mostly a water path, with 1 hopper that is DIRECTLY above 1 dropper at the top. Whenever I run a test with stuff idc about (cobble, arrows, deepslate, pork, etc.), I'll dump the stack into the system all at once & everything is fine for the ENTIRE duration of the test. I run these tests for days & sometimes even weeks. Then, when I put actual equipment items into the system, I'll dump all the items into the system, & they cycle through said system properly for some time. But after a while (when I say "a while" I mean days, meaning I've been going in & out of render distance & also logging on & off the game), I'll notice that the wall is empty. When I check the system & take a look at the dropper at the top, I see that the dropper is full & not dispensing the items that it once was. The moment I touch anything in the dropper, it starts flowing again. I'm not sure if this matters, but it might be worth mentioning that I the droppers set up far enough in the back so you can't hear them from inside the room. & obviously, you can't see them either.
Is this an issue that droppers have on Bedrock with these types of items specifically? Or is it a problem with non-stackable items? Does anyone know of any solutions to get around this? I don't think this is a chunk border issue, bc I feel that the tests wouldn't be different from the actual results if that were the case.
The video is taken from a demo I built in my creative world a long time ago. The real build is like this, just without all the space since it isn't outside.
