I love the Texture effect in Lightroom that you can access with a mask. It's under the Effects when applying a mask, right below the curves adjust box. I use it regularly when processing raw files to usually turn down the texture in an area, but it's nice that you can also turn it up.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what combination of effects and layers I can use in Photoshop to achieve the same control and look to spot-treat texture there. Can anyone advise on how to do this?
