He likes to just lay like this

I cut my hair and I hate it. When the stylist did it I thought it looked cute , but it only looks good for one day as when I sleep on it, it gets matted and flattened. Every morning I have to do it and I try to do defined finger curls but I just can’t do it and it looks horrible. I’m not sure what to do and I’m starting to hate how I look. First picture is after salon. 2nd and 3rd is today when I put effort into doing it.
