Hepatic cat food
Hi all so my soul cat (yes he is) recently been told a few months ago that he needs to go on hepatic food,
Accidental find on bloods test and then more blood test an ultrasound and then fine needling under ultrasound was done but was inconclusive anyway he’s on medication.
Tried to Pro and Royal Canin hepatic food, hes always been fussy like food with a bit of liky licks in it. Dry food but Iv notice this week he’s crying food again (bowel is always has something in it) it’s like he’s now coming up want to eat chicken but doesn’t actually eat it. Has anyone found any good wet food products for it hepatic diets.
Side note. We don’t know what’s going on as he doesn’t have any symptoms. He had a bit of weight loss and his white blood cells where low, medication and change of diet showed liver and white blood cells were coming back to normal. Not fully there yet, can’t do a biopsy as he’s still not with in normal range of his clotting factor, it’s loads better. Have another. Blood test in the end of jun to see what his levels are.
But yeh please help me out if you know anything. I’m researching how to make my own food for him.
