Certain games not appearing on menu once installed, and large block of “other” data under applications

Been trying to put some games on my system like The Last Stand: Aftermath and others that don’t appear in library or on the menu even after goldhen says they’re installed, and I also have a 21.32GB batch of something under Applications in Storage. How do I remove it, and what might be happening to my games?

My PS4 Pro that I used Goldhen on is starting to have some big issues, need assistance!

When I first tried to apply Goldhen onto the system, it had a sort of click noise and turned off, had to restart it before the jailbreak went through. Now after a few times turning it on and using it to play and download various games, it’s started to act weird, like doing system storage check on power up twice in a row, the first time asking for a stick containing the current firmware to reinstall it, then going through just fine the second time. Then downloads would fail unless directly installed via usb in the goldhen menu. And now it can’t launch itemzflow or even open the settings menu, and took nearly a minute to turn off when I tried to.

I looked up what might be going on and apparently the click means that my hard drive might be slowly ticking down until it stops working. How can I save what games and dlc and saves I have on it and put them onto another hard drive? I just turned it off a few minutes ago and don’t plan to turn it on again until I know what to do next. If you have any drive recommendations confirmed to work, please link them, or steps on how to save it, or anything, please!

A question involving Dynasty Warriors and multi disc PS2 games

For the people who don’t know, Koei had some games on the ps2 that would get sequels that could connect to the original versions of their games to mesh the contents of both together. The most notable ones to do this were their Warriors titles, both Dynasty and Samurai Warriors got Xtreme Legends titles that would let you eject the disc and insert the original game in order to make a “definitive edition” that you could play.

Since the ps4 has a way to convert ps2 games to be playable on the system, and has a way of letting you put multiple discs, is it possible to recreate this disc swap on ps4?

Immediately I feel like it wouldn’t work because when I swapped discs in the first games that I discovered this with, the game would completely reset when swapping discs, but has it been figured out?

Like the title says, I got a game, got all the parts and tried to extract it all into a file to get a whole pkg file. But everytime I’m trying to, it always gives me a folder with the name of the game and a bunch of files inside, not a one of them a pkg. It’s only System Information and a bunch of R files numbered from 0 to whatever the last one is. What am I doing wrong? Does it need to include the update file as well? I thought those were supposed to be kept separate and installed after the game was.

Here’s the video I used:

Any help is appreciated!

This post pertains to these three videos from Mr.Mario2011, a creator I trust and have followed directions from for modding before:

I recently acquired a practically unused ps4 pro on 12.52. The thing has no games or PSN account linked to it. That becomes a problem when I want to use the Vue After Free method to alter my console because I can’t link a dummy PSN account to it without updating the firmware past 12.52 (see above). At this point it looks like I’m stuck using the Poopse method instead, with the bluray disc and the writer.

However, I saw that there’s a way to use Apollo on a hacked ps4 to spoof a PSN activation on a profile (see above), and was curious as to whether it would be safe to modify the console using Poopse, then activate PSN using Apollo, and finally use that to go through with applying the Vue After Free method.

To reiterate, I want to:

  1. Activate a user profile with psn on it through Apollo.
  2. Use that freshly created “account” to make my system compatible with the Vue After Free method and stop having to use the Bluray disc on startup every time.

Is this possible without frying the system? Since both apply GoldHen, does it matter if I use a different method to activate it once the system has already been tethered once? Would I have to keep using the Poopse method every time or it wouldn’t work anymore? And more importantly, does it make sense to even put the effort in? No matter which version, both still require that I reapply GoldHen on startup, so does freeing up the disc drive really affect that much? I can just take the disc out and put my games in once Hen is active, right?

I’d really appreciate if somebody could weigh in here and help me!
