My spouse and I moved recently to a larger place and sold our townhouse, which we’ve owned for the last 5 years or so. We had around $240k left on the bill, and we were honestly happy to get rid of the house for $325k, we bought it back for $315k a few years back. With all the selling costs we came out with a little under 60k at closing. We have no debt other than a few low interest small student loans and our new mortgage. We also have a kid on the way so we are thinking a lot about that as well. Any help on best allocating this new money to help build a better future for myself and my family?
