Where are we on the coolant flush maintenance?
I have a 2022 and just hit 50,000 miles and haven't had the coolant flushed yet. I read conflicting comments and posts about if it's even really necessary and if dealerships even really know how to do it correctly.
I've been putting it off since this car, which I love, has brought bad luck.. 2 years ago was a freak hail storm the one night I couldn't park in the garage (thanks wife!) that caused 500 tiny dents, a few months later the ICCU blew up (which I believe they replace one of the coolants during the fix?) and then this year a deer jumped out from behind a snow bank and I clipped it going 25 mph. We always have money set aside to cover a slightly higher deductible, but I keep putting it off since it costs what like...$600? I like to live in a world where these cars don't carry the maintenance cost of a ICE vehicle.
Has everyone had this done and if not.. are you concerned it might void a future warranty issue if you don't get it done?
