Tried installing to the HDD and failed at 45% and I bought it brand new and sealed as well. It's pretty annoying how often I see games like this and I definitely have a few in my collection with the layers separating. Thankfully it's mostly the cheaper games but it's also on some of the expensive ones which blows. I'm pretty sure there is no saving these games once it reaches this point.
Currently replaying this for the third time and I forgot how fun and amazing this game truly is. However, I just wish this game was a lot longer like double the amount of events for both cops and racers. A few of the series feel short to me while some are longer which is kind of off putting. Also not to mention some cars that require a lot of bounty to unlock which is why more events would have been better. I just feel like this is one of the games that you genuinely wish was longer, maybe they were just better on the online aspect I guess.
Highly doubt it would ever happen but oh well. Figured someone would appreciate this since this is how the game looked to me back when I first played it 😂.
With the announcement of the Black Flag remaster, one could hope WD1 could get the same treatment right? It has the best storyline out of all the others in the series and has a great atmosphere. Maybe this time they could make it look like the E3 showcase 😂.
