Two factors which aren’t being looked at enough.
Two Motherwell players have their hands all over trusty as the ball comes in. They proceed to push him and trusty ends up jumping later than Nicholson. Both trusty’s feet are still planted in image 2 while Nicholson is jumping.
Nicholson jumps with his hand in the air at above head height before any contact with Trusty happens.
Huns trying to say his hand only hits the ball because trusty jumps into him are missing the fact that it can only happen because trusty is being clearly fouled and Nicholson’s arm is already above head height as his feet leave the ground (unnatural position)
