.....And then I proceeded to rush over to him and trigger the exact same ending as the first time because I'm an idiot. Now I have to do it all over again to get the true ending FML.

The weirdest part is how much harder he seems the second time. I beat him my first attempt the first time through, and now this second attempt took 10 tries. I think to do it again it won't take 10 but it'll still take me a few. He's incredibly tanky and I haven't found the right gun to use yet. On my winning attempt I used the Myriad Chakram. I have 100+ hours in Returnal and haven't struggled at any point in Saros. This is for sure the hardest boss in either game...

Not sure how many people know that these two functions can be separated and placed on different buttons when remapping the controls.

I found that it was too hard/annoying to try and hold down the trigger half way when I wanted to use my alt and I’d always trigger my power weapon by accident. Leading to my character doing nothing because if I was out of power I couldn’t shoot anything.

I use my alt fire 10x more than I use power weapon, and it’s easier to press in L2 all the way instead of a half press. So I mapped alt fire to hard press on L2 and moved power weapon to L3. Been working great since then.

Now I just wish they’d allow me to separate shield and melee but it seems it doesn’t.
