Celosia at the Garden Center

This is already one of my favorite plants to have in the garden, but this basically made me buy it. I went with the wavy one, the other was a little too eerie and activated trypophobia in the light that I never knew I had. Real fuzzy brain coral type look with 6 or so stems fuzed together.

Should I expect this plant to live longer or shorter because of its fascination? More water for sure, but I’m curious what else I would have to consider with its care if it’s already low maintenance.

GTKY needs a Jay Rock feature on the deluxe

I know I’m not the only one that hears him perfectly in pocket. It’s a Jay Rock beat by definition.

Received in exchange for honest review. I don’t care if you believe me, it’s your money 🤷‍♂️

First thing’s first I like their brand execution so far, they’ve been showing up well in the community according to early reports of orders and such a presence helps push the standard higher.

This is a pop vac jar, which I’ve heard conflicting things about. I like them personally, but more trial and error is needed. The only branding is the white label you see, which is in line with their concept. My question is who is this for? And by that I mean, with this priced at retail who is genuinely using them to make a flip? Might as well just have full branding on both sides of the jar.

Pop the top and it’s sweet as hell, like grape nerds sweet. Room filler for sure. Very candy through and through with some foot funk underneath it. Great terpene expression, but nothing complex at all.

Texture is lumpy badder type with an obvious gloss on top.

Flavor translates decently, not entirely. Wish I got more of that sweetness through, but it still had a nice hashy fruity foot taste to it. Left my mouth watering, that’s for sure.

Indica leaning effects that leave your body feeling like it’s not there. I could see this being good for releasing tension and unwinding after work for sure. Great utility smoke.

So what’s the verdict
Their tier system seems to have a solid criteria as I mostly agree with where it’s placed in A tier, short of some more complexity and flavor translation. Price wise, we’re competing against established veterans like HRC and I’m not sure we’re coming out on top, even and especially against their tier 2 at almost half the price per gram. This is great smoke, but that’s leaning too far into “as a treat” type prices for what I’m getting terp wise. To clarify, this is still great hash, we’re just speaking in context of the market as a whole here and what they’re competing against. Maybe their S tier is worth digging into for the price, which is what I originally requested when I spoke to them, but either way this made for a fire ass hash hole.

Pictured: Drunk GMO and Mango Pie

DankTank (or mydanktank) is a little-known vendor of in house flower, concentrates, cartridges and hash rosin edibles (if you know, you know).

I’d been bullshitting trying these out for the longest and finally pulled the trigger a few weeks ago when I was looking for good budget options. Shipped quickly.

What is BHO Caviar?
A high-terpene extract blended with rosin infusions, creating a resin-heavy caviar texture that is glossy, dense, and terp-loaded. The infusion gives this batch a richer, more luxurious depth than standard crumble, with a smooth, saturated finish that leans hard into flavor.

This is different than any other concentrate I’ve tried before. The textures range from soupy to badder. I copped 7 strains and only one was that badder texture but the others still weren’t lacking. Every single jar crack was funky as fuck. Terp profiles are all very distinct from one another. That being said I must address the elephant: no it doesn’t taste “natural” according to what I’m used to, but it does taste true to strain, nothing botanical.

One thing to say, you can tell this is a tailored concentrate. The taste is much more explosive and immediate than anything else. Candy/fruity strains are fruit bombs and funky strains taste like fuel (in a good way). I’m not gonna give each an individual review, but I’ll rank them:

Mango Pie
Drunk GMO
Peaches and Cream
Papaya Pie
Purple Bliss
Lambo Lush
Tropical Runtz

Mango Pie tastes like a mango cream ice pop and coats my nostrils every time I smell it. Tropical Runtz tasted just bitter, to which they responded they’d look into it potentially being blended too heavy handedly. That was the only one I didn’t like though.

Effects varied per strain - sativa leaning strains definitely had those amplified. Satisfying smooth vapor, especially for the price. You can buy some good crc’d resin for the same money and be left half as satisfied.

Will be copping again when it’s time to reup on some budget. I wanna try their rosin at some point but it’s a little steeply priced for what you get based on the only feedback I’ve seen on it.

I’m making this post mainly to highlight both WAR and HCS customer service. I copped the first HCS drop and was pretty underwhelmed, much like a lot of others. HCS stated it was an issue with the pop vac jars and I was skeptical having gotten great concentrates out of pop vac jars from other brands around that time. I reached out and gave my feedback only to be informed that they were already ahead of making things right and that I had a jar waiting for me if I wanted it. I wasn’t planning on investing in their rosin again after that first go, but who turns down a free jar? Shipped and arrived in time for 4/20. When it comes to customer service and customer satisfaction, there’s no brand you could put above WAR. And I’m not just saying that because I got free hash, I see them do right by others time and time again. This is just my first time ever having an issue.

BlackBerry Maple is fruity candy heaven. Juicy blackberry peel, if that ever were a thing. There’s a sharp almost citric zing like a just-ripe blackberry with some of the aromatic juicy aspects you get from peeling an orange, but imagine it was purple. It smells purple orange and yellow with some cheesy funk beneath it. The concentrate ain’t as pretty, but the terp profile and complexity is on par with Terp Wizard imo. Before, I was wondering why they were priced above Staefli and HCS. Now I understand entirely. I’m on my last 2 dabs of it and it’s drying out but still stinks just as strong as when I first cracked it. Not sure if it was the pop vac, the batch or what but I recommend them if you’re looking for something equivalent to that $120-140 tier if they stay like this.

Effects are stoney, right behind the eyes and forehead. I feel like I’m wearing a hat. Classic steady buildup that I usually get from great strain selection with excellent hashmakers. Another one of those highs that makes you wish you could bottle it up and keep it forever, this is in great harmony with my system.

Get you some High Country Solventless from WAR if you’re not a bitch.
