Hi guys,

Im planning to visit France by end of August. Would it be good to apply by June? The scenario basically is that my student visa in UK expires in January 2027 but before that I wanna apply for Schengen multiple entry visa for 6 months. Keeping this in mind, I wanna show that I have sufficient time in my UK’s visa so it doesn’t look odd to the visa officer when looking at my request.

I got my first Schengen Visa as an international student in UK for 45 days with max duration to stay 30 days. I was wondering I want to apply again for a long stay visa so I can keep visiting other countries too but my degree ends in September 2026. How should I portray my situation in the cover letter so that I can show my ties in UK?
