Just got back after spending a week at the parks and there are some biting bugs active right now.

My son ended up with a couple dozen bites around his sock line. I did some research and found a lot of families saying the same. (They said maybe noseeums?)

We sat in the turf for the dessert party and the next day both kids had tons of bites. So I strongly suspect it was this area. Mine are grown up now but it’s a good idea if you’re traveling soon to pack some insect repellent just in case.
