Hello I’m 25m and was just diagnosed with afib as of may 12th I had gotten home from work and my chest started getting really tight and it was hard to breathe my partner took me to the ER and I was immediately brought back had x-rays blood work the whole nine yards. Eventually after like a couple hours of testing the doctor seeing me came back and told me I had afib which I guess is unusual for people my age I was given the choice of being put on meds or having a cardio version until I could get to a cardiologist. I took the cardio version and now I’m on blood thinners until I can see a cardiologist to see what’s wrong with me. I guess I’m really here to get advice cause I’m not gonna lie I’m pretty scared idk what’s gonna happen I don’t know anything.
