Yesterday I had my Goldman Sacs Associate SDE loop interview from around 1–4 PM MT.

Honestly, from my side, all the rounds felt good. I was able to communicate my thought process clearly, solve the problems, and overall I came out of the interview feeling positive.

But today morning around 6:30 AM, I received the rejection email.

The timing itself honestly shocked me because I wasn’t expecting such a quick decision after feeling reasonably confident about the interviews.

I know interview outcomes depend on many factors and maybe there were concerns I didn’t notice, but I wanted to ask:

Has this happened to others too where you genuinely felt the interview went well but still got rejected immediately afterward?
