Used Searwood XL for $800 - Good deal?

Used Searwood XL for $800 - Good deal?

Used Searwood XL listed for $800, honestly no idea if it’s a good deal or not… hard to tell the condition, doesn’t seems like there’s anything beyond surface rust/grime.

Was planning on getting just the regular Searwood which is $899 new…

What would you do?

Deals going into Memorial Day

I know really one can answer this for certain, but for the ones that know/remember from years past, will more deals/sales pop up over the next few days leading into Memorial Day, or is what is out there now pretty much it? Anything after in the days after? Is Father’s Day usually better or about the same?

Pellet Grill primarily for smoking

I’m sure everyone loves seeing these posts… but I value the opinion of others who have real world experiences.

Looking for a Pellet Grill/Smoker that will be primarily used for smoking/low and slow cooks. I have a Monument 4 Burner gas grill, Blackstone 4 burner, and a Chargriller Akorn (might be getting rid of the Blackstone and Akorn, Gas Grill is new, wife wanted it)

I’ve seen/heard a lot of good things about the Searwood, but it’s $$$, don’t like how it doesn’t have side tables included, and wondering if I can get better smoking from something else. Also not sure if the base size would be sufficient.

Also looked at Pit Boss 850, Recteq, Traeger (woodridge?), something Camp Chef?

Just got rid of a generic 5 year old Z Grills pellet grill.
