Positive emjm experience in CS fields for non eu students

Hey guys, I am looking for people who have had good experiences post 2 years of emjm as a non eu student. Like what internships you did? Were you able to survive the eu job market ( too much negativity around ).

I wonder with so much negativity around is emjm just for an experience of European culture at this point? Do people not aim for good job opportunity? I’m hoping to see some positive experiences here….looking for motivation : )

Hi guys,

I am a non eu candidate.

I got the CoDaS emjm scholarship and my universities will be :

Home University (1st year of studies): UPC, Spain

Host University (2nd year of studies): Grenoble INP, France

I’m scared to go because I have been a data engineer in a good product based company and I worry after this MS I won’t get any jobs because of the job market. I don’t know any french or spanish (Started Duolingo). I’m good in English though. So many posts on Reddit and insta and places say there is over saturation hitting in EU for data roles and I’m scared I won’t get any because of that. I also have an offer from Georgia tech for the online masters in computer that will go on along with my job so that sounds safer. This emjm course is in Communication engineering and data science. I like the course but agh not to sound like a broken record but it’s very scary.

If you guys worked through your courses and secured work then please let me know about your experience:) would help. Thanks xx
