i have an 86 champion bass boat.. i've been putting work into it. finally got my deep cycle battery's. went to go test the trolling motor (80lb and 24v minnkota) and it was getting little to no power, was only spinning on max speed and at a very slow speed. i took the prop off pulled some fishing line and grass off put the prop back on and now it won't spin at all. pulled the head off, replaced the fuse because it was a little corroded and the light inside was on so it's getting power there.. right? i'm new to this and a first time boat owner. what should i check/do?
