finance question

Looking to order a new MY premium on PCP. Me and my wife took early retirement 2 years ago and live off income from a couple of rental properties we own. No mortgages or debt and very good credit scores. My question is, what info do they ask for and how deep to they dive into my finances ? as when I apply for credit I'm assuming I will be asked for proof of employment / income which I don't have other than the rental income which they will treat as 50/50 between the both of us. If it's a case of no employment then no finance I'd be wasting my time applying.

EPC requirements for BUS

After a quick google search (and a chat with Gemini) is says the requirement to have a valid EPC to get the £7500 grant towards a heat pump was scapped on 28th April this year. Can anyone confirm installers are no longer asking for one ?

Sigenergy ModBus control

Hello All,

I'm currently in the process of getting solar quotes but I want a system that integrates well with Home Assistant locally. After a bit of research I noticed sigenergy can be controlled via modbus tcp or RS485. If you have a Sigenergy system can you tell me if the installer has to enable the modbus or can it be done with the user app afterwards ? Or if you think I'm better of going with a different system with more local control compatibility then please let me know. Basically I don't really want to be tied down to using a manufactures app. Any suggestions / info would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any insight to when / if Octopus will start to offer the new Altherma 4 model? or any installers that do. I'm located in bedfordshire.
