AITA for this?

22F here. my partner and I have been dating since 2023. while not everything has been smooth sailing, just want your opinion for finance wise.

he earns $5-6k a month. he's a degree holder. he has a decent job and earns more than me.

i earn 3-4k a month. im a diploma holder, don't want degree because it's financially expensive and i know I'll not be able to handle the pressure so for me dip is enough. I have a small home based biz.

everytime we go out, half the time or more I end up paying for us. i also paid for half his semester in university and for fuel, for everything (he has a car)

the only time he pays is when i start to get annoyed that he hasn't been paying for anything. sometimes when I do, he says he's saving for our future (has stocks or something, I'm not clear)

so I told him off and said I didn't want to pay for stuff anymore and we should just do Dutch or pay our own things only when we go out.

he got angry and said he's been considerate about how he's spending for us so we can have a good house or whatever next time and that I'm ungrateful and since I'm the one who's running biz my income is subject to a lot more growth so I should be the one taking the financial burden when we go out now and we can work together on it in the future after we settle BTO housing or whatever....

Lol pls give me your opinions.

Edit: yeah guys i get it i will start detaching to run away HAHAHAHAHA 💀

Rejection letters

dear undergrads looking to pursue a degree, if you got rejected, please know this is not the end.

don't beat yourself up about it. don't make your life miserable. there's always going to be a path for you and if it's meant for you it will always end up being yours in the end. keep trying, or venture into something else, it's up to you!

but don't beat yourself up about people who don't even know who you are choosing you. you will always have a pathway, always have the opportunity to do something else. life is greater than university and throwing yourself into debt and maybe even a course you hate. are you really doing this for yourself or because everyone has a degree?

not everyone is destined for a degree

and a degree is not a ticket to success ✍🏻

tenacity for life, passion for what you love is.

life is more than a piece of paper youre going to slog 3 years for.

So I was walking home and replying one of my boss' text messages. Then, all of a sudden, I feel someone whizz past me. It's super fast so I look up and it's actually a cyclist. (I'm on the pedestrian pavement, not shared) so I called the cyclist to stop and they did.

I walk up to them and ask them why they're going so fast and they say they weren't (delivery riders were going less fast than they were) and I explained the delivery riders are going slower, and they are the ones who have timings to meet (this cyclist was cycling casually) and his bicycle was a mountain bicycle.

they don't apologise but start berating me for being in their way and cursing me out. I'm infuriated and I explain that on this pavement, it's more or less advisable to go slower, not speed. they could've crashed into me and things would've hit the fan than.

they argued that the main point is that they didn't crash into me and so they're not in any wrong. but I said kids walk on this path, families walk on this path. anyway they continue cursing me out and trying to tell me they are in the right.

I generally am ok with cyclists but this isn't the first time this happened and cyclists always start screaming or getting annoyed/pissed when pedestrians are walking and they want to pass through/speed through.

I ride bicycles occasionally but I usually give pedestrians the right of way. I don't know if I was being an asshole or a Karen but yeah... thoughts?

Edit: not all the cyclists getting triggered and downvoting. I think it's quite safe to say majority of sporeans hate cyclists because y'all are RECKLESS. Lol

"Know that he will grow from a boy to an avenger"

"One filled with rage as you're consumed by age"

"If you don't end him now there'll be nothing left to save"

Me: It's alright Telemachus will fight him.

IS IT JUST ME WHO SAID THAT OUT LOUD.

I mean make use of that boy bro, he has Athena's backing and is YOUR son.
