Pothos Recovery Mission 🫡
Hi all!
I had this very gorgeous pothos that I severely neglected in the beginning of the year due to mental and physical health issues. Clearly, she is a hurtin’ girl. :(
I trimmed off all her dead leaves and left on the few that I thought might make it.
After some internet sleuthing, I decided to give her a 20 minute sink soak because she was *severely* dehydrated. Her remaining vines have really perked up the last few days, and you can see some of them curling or lifting themselves off the side of the planter where they were once hanging limp. Some of the leaves have firmed back up, but some of them are still pretty mushy.
I want to use keiki paste to attempt to get some leaves to grow back on all the empty nodes left on her vines, but the internet was saying the plant needs to recover from severe dehydration before I do that.
My question is: how often should I water her to help her recover from dehydration without risking root rot, and at what point will she be ready to use the paste?
