Well. What now?

Well. What now?

Hubby wanted to get me a stock tank pool for my birthday this year, and found this one on FB marketplace for a crazy good deal. As you can see it’s already been pre fitted with holes for the pump and filter and came with both those things. So from a technical standpoint, we should be covered. We’re just confused now on next steps in order to get it usable.

As you can see, it has a couple rust spots on the bottom- the previous owner said they left a chlorine tablet in for too long which caused the spot, but we confirmed there are no leaks or anything.

Is this tank usable as-is without anything lining the bottom? If not, what would be the most efficient thing to use to get it usable? We’re fine with draining it and fixing it up with something nicer in the future, this is an ongoing project for us- but want to get into it as quickly as possible.

Or, alternatively, if you tell me I just need to slow my roll or we got scammed, that’s fine too- heartbreaking, but fine lol

Any advice is appreciated! It’s an 8’ wide, 2 foot deep pool. Also, we will be placing it on top of sand before use, just haven’t spread it out yet!
