Percussive Ambient like Microstoria
Hey, I am looking for recommendations of albums, artists or tracks that work with a similar vibe and feel. Not noise, but tension. Percussion, but no straight rhythm. Not yet Dub Techno and no chill out. Collages and snippets with some hint of melody.
Does this make sense? Would love to hear some more like this.

Looking for recommendations: Vladislav Delay - Notke
Hey gang, I am looking for artist or song recommendations like the one from Vladislav Delay. There is a somewhat clear rhythm going on, but not a straight 4/4 kick. So it's not ambient in the purest sense, but not classic techno.
Does this make sense? Would love to hear more like this.

Current room & work in progress
It's been a rough past year, since I lost my wife to cancer. Setting up a recording space and immersing myself in music again is restoring my sanity. Just got the last bulk of my record collection back from storage. Hence the boxes. Now it's sorting time.
There is more to the room, from where the picture was taken, but it's in disarray. Will post a picture once I got it cleaned up a bit more. In between all this was a makeshift bed a couple of days for an old friend visiting.

Nach vielen Jahren wieder alles aus dem Lager bei mir.
Das wird ne tolle Woche. Hatte vor Jahren aus Platz und Zeitgründen die Platten eingemottet und mich anderen Dingen im Leben gewidmet.
Nun wollte es das Leben so, dass sich die Umstände ändern und ich habe wieder Patz und nehme mir frech einfach die Zeit.

I recently bought a box of Kraut- & Progrecords and been diving into the world of 70s and 80s noodling and am loving it.
In that journey, I came across a handful of albums that are more ambient and electronic in nature, without the typical guitar and drums, but with these long, almost droning, arpeggios and synth drums. What a delight.
So I would really appreciate more recommendations with artists, bands or one off albums that fit that description.
