‘M excited but also a bit scared for their tour
I’ve never went to a concert and I’ve only seen them on festivals. I really hope Jared does sing a bit more than at festivals instead of letting the public doing the singing.

The first exposure I had was with Attack and then The Kill, on Spotify randomizer after playing some fall out boy.
Attack's synth and bassline with the vocals elevated me to a new level.
I didn't know the guy from Morbius was the vocalist
The Kill was the first song I heard from Guitar Hero: World Tour and I loved it. I listened to their first album and I loved the sort of spacey atmosphere it has and the album cover with the kid in spacesuit really does clash well.
A Beautiful Lie was more mainstream but the album cover still felt in line with the band and it was still a decent album.
This Is War is the album I want to talk about and I don’t have interest in the later albums. I do honestly think the album cover is a bit of a downgrade but weirdly suits the charm of the album, with the face of the Lion/Tiger. My favourite track is Night Of The Hunter.
This Is War has a really good groove on the verse and has a good military sense but I just feel the chorus doesn’t hit for me emotionally. Closer To The Edge doesn’t click for me either.
But Kings And Queens is the one song that I’ve listened to multiple times and I want to love but sadly, the emotion doesn’t kick in for me. The rest of the song is fine but I feel the chorus is really weak, a lot of the lyrics just feels a bit too choral and choir like and a bit simple. I personally think this song should have been more ambitious and not afraid to not be verse, chorus, etc…
I’ve seen the music video and the song still doesn’t click for me. I’ve tried turning lights off and closing my eyes and it doesn’t work.
