Safira’s bellydance animation!

I’m sharing this today! It’s 38°C today, and I’m already sweating just from watching Safira move. The worst part is that it looks pretty hot over on her end, too.

Anyway… I finally finished animating these longest 13 seconds of my life. This took forever, and I couldn't have done it without Laura Pacheco Cadena’s references.

Cheers!

A group of my characters

I'm not that good at drawing, but I did a few of my characters. Questions are welcome.

Golden Sprout

I'm still working on my project. He developed a visual for teenage farmers who are engaged in gathering. They climb tall fruit trees and pick fruits

Ancient inspired by me Powderbrush

Another one of those pieces I started long ago and only now got my head around it. The goal was to study flash photography lighting and skin tones, but to make it my own. I added an ancient Mediterranean vibe through clothing and hairstyles.
I painted this over several times before I reached this result, it felt uncomfortable at times because the rendering was a bit different than how I usually handle it.

Anatomy Study - Torso and lifted arms

I can't deal with myself not knowing how the body's smaller parts move in different actions of human body, so I started to study the figure in a detailed way. Here is the first one in the series, I'll share more

Lionbacker: Former college linebacker who turned into a lion man after taking sketchy performance-enhancing drugs

You’ve met Stronghorn, now let me introduce you to Lionbacker…

Russell King was a promising quarterback in highschool but a rough transition to college football caused him to incur one too many losses on the field. Feeling inadequate and desperate to prove himself, he resorted to injecting untraceable black market lion hormones to improve his performance. In the span of just a few weeks, he grew from 5’11” to a towering 6’7” and skyrocketed to 400 pounds of pure muscle—growth he claimed was due to a late growth spurt. Despite his coach “demoting” him to linebacker because of his enormous size, things were going well for Russell, for a time, until he accidentally killed his teammate during a game in a fit of momentary rage. Deeply ashamed of his actions, he fled from his college. Now, he uses his superhuman strength, agility, and durability to work as a hero-for-hire, both to support himself financially and atone for killing his teammate.

I have one more character to share as part of my punny, animal-based superhero streak, so stay tuned!
