I think I like libraries and orbiters

Coming from some roguelike background, this was one of my first few runs. Honestly, the game is very satisfying with big numbers. For some reason I always tend to lean towards max enchant builds (I discovered this sub right now so I'm not sure if this has a name). Curious what other builds are there to break the game? Also, I can't seem to go past e300 dmg for some reason, is there a cap?

The game does need some heavy re-balancing imo. Like the fact that 10 over-invests are as good as 2 chaos over-invests with less than 1/6th the price and higher chance of finding. But, overall, kudos to the devs.

Multiplayer tier list

  • S: nature
  • A: time, magic, nomad, nothing
  • C: stone
  • D:
  • E:
  • F: progress, blood, gold

Seems to pretty much be my experience with it, pretty hard to lose with the S and A ranked kings. I don't know how the MMR system works but I was at king + 20 this morning, dropped to just king by trying to force a progress win all day + the bug with portals forcing a quit. I don't know if ranking changes people's experience or if it's random matchmaking anyway

Nature gets S tier over the A tier kings purely because it's so braindead and reliable, no luck required

My Opinions and Tipps on Multiplayer Kings

This Tierlist is based on how easy it is to get ranking Point NOT first place, its ordered in itself i.e. King of nothing > King of Nature and I do think every King is well balanced right now (except for King of nothing batshit broken and only 1 strat that really works)

Breaking the game so much allows for achievement hunting

This is a Duke difficulty run with King of Progress (highest difficulty i unlocked while going for the King ones)

This was my initial army with lots of troops. They all had absurd amount of damages. I did every weird (Crossboar, Mountception, etc) achievement I could before i tried to end the run.

When I tried to end this run, I was afraid that I might NOT get experience after a 6 hour session so I tried to lose the game on purpose by destroying all my troops (Because I didn't know I could just "End Run" after pressign Quit...).

However, game doesn't allow me to destroy my own base so I somehow realized I am unable to lose at this point because my base is just AoE oneshot nuking everything in sight.

This is when I realized now I can do boring achievements like Wall Street, King of Nothing Left to Do, Global Warmer, The Spire Slays and Double Double Double Dragon, etc (achievements which require using the same buldings 9+ times)

After these I noticed that there are some cards that I never tested before (like the Amplifier) and I tried to overbuff a single building with utmost efficiency. I even tried using AI for the calculations but it never really worked.

This is the current and the final state of my run at 400~ish total years. I even tried rolling back the time to a negative year (For Time Bender achievement) but it is just not possible and worth doing it here.

I just wanted to share it incase it helps someone because I didn't expect the game to be this breakable. It made achievement hunting and unlocking things so much easier and fun.

P.S. I assume Amplifiers are less useful than actually just spamming Chaos Over-Invest (+%99 base stats for 999 gold) but my math is not good enough to calculate that.

My total achievement count and play time (incase anyone is wondering)

i think broke the game

im fairly new to the game only put abt 6h but i am having a good run year 523 rn, i was stacking choas procreate on paladins and suddenly their amount changed to negative and next year they just dissapeared..they had like 50+ reinforce 30+ combust and static and like 10+ of every other enchantement, ik the game is in early access im just curious if i found sth new or is this a known bug?

the game has admitedly been quite buggy for the last 100 or so years, cards dissapearing or being used and staying in my hand has happened quite a few time

Singleplayer fun sandboxing card

Could we get something like this for singleplayer fun. Just to adjust the pressure.
sorry photoshop skills...

Also:
- variants like +1000% to enemy troop hp but -99% to enemy troop movement speed

How does this guy have E to the anything Paladins in multiplayer, is this even possible??

This guy Cheetos has paladins with over E18+whatever paladins in his game. Is this a sign of cheating or is there just tech that I missed?

You can level up by combining the same card.

I played my first 3 matches just now and was thinking the only way to level up was with interactions with other cards. You can drop a copy of one card onto itself on your grid and it’ll level up.

I think it should be more obvious.

Building effects

If I put a library in the middle of four groups of wizards, would it do its effect on all the groups individually or does it randomly choose? Like if it’s going to have the 50% chance, does each of the 4 gets its own roll or only one group of wizards it randomly choose? It seems like it might be better only have the library touching your strongest enchanted unit so that it would only have chances to double that unit right?

Got the game a few hours ago, i think i broke it...

Basically im running magic king, with Time king king and progress king as enemies and i was able to unlevel and relevel everything over and over and over again haha then with a library at like + 11 levels and after getting enchants on my mages across the board / having it so every time a mage gets enchanted it enchants them 8 times instead of once, then also enchants all the orbiters it scaled out of control hahaha.

Finally GG’s

Build =
- beacons surrounding citadel x4
- always using warlocks then offering them
- constantly using over-invest
- always pick x2 lighting 1st then support building adding x1 boosts
- constantly upgrading support towers and eventually getting as many quarries as you can
*ALWAYS CHOOSE HEGEMONY AND PUT YOUR BEACONS AND/OR QUARRIES ON THEM*
= completion 🙂‍↕️

In multiplayer, how is it even possible?

Nothing makes sense, only 2 portals, unrelated perks, in 15 years before the first rainbow, there is no combination of cards which can produce this.
Few years later there was another tile with 1000+troops

Moving up leaderboard shockingly quickly

I use the same exact strategy every game and there seems to be only a single troop that gets in the way

I use the king of nomads and set up my perks to make it so I can’t upgrade my warlord as much as possible
And I just put a single tile of mob next to it and every turn I either put a buff on the mob or upgrade the warlord and if I can’t do either I just place down a raptor

And for some reason this incredibly straightforward strategy works well enough to smash through any army except for when someone stacks the defender troop, which annihilates my army within seconds

But with that not being the most common build out there I just seem to be going up with no stop in sight

Am I eventually going to reach a point on the leader board where this strat no longer works, because all the people at the top don’t seem to be using nomad?
