When the only King you could kill gets #1

I'm always confused by how that happens. For example earlier I was down to my last three opponents. Two of them could kill me instantly, and the third I could kill instantly. But somehow, he got first and I got 8th.

9 kings tierlist - Actual season

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPZ-Ebul2WA&t=204s
You can check my videos to know how to play with every king.
Obs:
1- Matches with Time King are very long. So, despite being the strongest, he's not the fastest to rank up.
2- The King of Progress and the King of Nature are the best for leveling up, since they are short matches with a low duration.

How is this possible?!?!?!? day 27 195 unit +28 raptors

With that board?! Barely any scaling, those decrees??!?!?!

They either need to remove KoT cards, totally rework them, or figure out the cheating sitation on multiplayer. This is absolutely absurd to see on this board. His forest isn't even touching the raptors and they have more HP than with the blacksmith +3 buffing them and +30% dmg decree. SERIOUSLY WTF IS THIS? Where in the fuhk does he miraculously scale +28 on raptors by this day?!?!?!

Insane opposing multiplayer teams

Maybe I'm just bad, I recognize that. I am currently Prince rank, and am using pretty strong (I think, at least) strategies. Currently attempting to hyper scale Paladins with Smite. Which works great, until I run into an opposing King of Nomads who's base is something like Level 27 and has a gigantic horde of so many units my steam deck almost crashes?

Some of these builds seem so absolutely bonkers insane that I have a difficult time believing they got them legitimately, but I also don't want to thrash around accusing people of cheating.

It is also frustrating when, often, these absolutely insane builds seem to be the only version of that class that exists. Running into this version of Nomads once was fine, things happen. The third time in a row was deeply frustrating, because now it seems like, no matter my strategy, if I go against Nomads, I lose.

Is anybody else running into wild teams like this? I'm not even the highest rank, but if I'm supposed to be casually slamming out teams like this every single game, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Multiplayer feedback: I don't like having 'missions' telling me to throw in a competitive game mode

Hello! I'm a big fan of 9 Kings and of competitive multiplayer games more broadly. I enjoy it quite a lot when games push me to make the best possible decisions in order to ensure victory.

In 9 Kings, there are occasionally times when 'have 99 bombers in one plot' is the best possible decision and aligns with trying to win the game. Very often, it isn't and doesn't. It feels kinda bad when I'm in a mode that explicitly ranks my ability to win and also wants me to do things like 'have 99 bombers in one plot,' punishing me thereafter with slower reward progression if I don't hurt my chances at victory by complying.

Anyway, very much enjoy the game regardless, but this pain point seemed worth noting. Big shoutouts to the devs, thanks for all your hard work so far.

sandbox mode

Hey developers, I would love a sandbox mode where I can experiment with different card combinations, and build ridiculous decks to see what is possible, I think this would also make your game more accessible to beginners, trying to learn how to make the best of the different kings cards and combinations. Love the game look forward to future updates!!!!

Multiplayer portal RNG. Is it healthy?

I like multiplayer for starters, and a meta will always exists. That being said, KoT is the king with the cards EVERYONE else wants....rewind, regression, and PORTAL.

Portal early is like a cheat code to first place 90% of the time. Assuming you hit HP bonus or Baby Boom on day 9 for most other kings, all you do is hit a portal right after and get double that bonus for the units placed there.

It's absolutely RNG to get set up with that combo early, and not hitting it feels like a near guaranteed bottom 4 finisher.

Maybe my dilemma with it is that it's power spike is not only rng but also extremely op. There aren't many viable build paths or things you attempt to do. More variety for power spikes would be ideal. I still find myself using the same perks in the same slots, chasing the same decrees, and chasing the same rainbow cards.

The power disparity in options is night and day. There are so many useless decrees, so many useless rainbow cards, so little practical selection of cards between kings. For instance, would I rather my units get 100% more hp or 1 extra unit per day....the options are silly. When the goal is to hyper scale 1 thing, more of a lesser thing is useless.

I'm guessing the devs are devising changes to increase diversity of build paths, but right now it's extremely narrow and 1 note in all the ways we scale units. KoT is the top of the totem pole in ways to increase power, and a lot of the rainbow cards/decrees/blessings lack usability compared to the massive power scaling of only a couple of the options.

I'm only a couple hours in so far, but I feel like a mob surrounded by 3 replicators and a demon alter with 500 damage is an end game build or something

Im so very proud of my "little" guys

Me as King of Blood trying to find an actual use for any of the rainbow cards or mangler.

I'll just use bombers with huge stacks of carnage! Oh wait... no, everyone's units have hundreds of thousands of health.

Aha! I'll unify 5 stacks of imps into a big stack of 180! And... they all died to a tier 1 orbiter. hmm.

I'll just scale, well no not really an option compared to others.

Base build? Ehh already nerfed and you'll never scale fast enough hmm.

Amplifier is alright i guess... btw 4th ever run

Randomified my palace into a treant, and just decided to all in that.

btw, amplifier spreads around level ups as they are also technically buffs. Also the aoe effect is the size of the map...

How Long until you Quit a Run?

I’m wondering how long should you play when you have a basically invincible build. Like it’s so broken and increasingly every round so it seems you’ll never end unless you manually quit.

How are people getting multiple stacks of thousands of units by turn 15?

Keep encountering people who have one or two stacks of units with 1323 units or 962 units. How are they doing it?

Tips for this achievement?

I am guessing Portal + Clones + Rewind, and timed properly with the War Phase is one way to achieve this goal. I am curious to know any other ways.
