First AR-15, Colt M4 Carbine 16”. Bought used as a Magpul FDE edition with only modification being a trigger (not sure what but love it) and had the OEM handle with OEM iron sights. Besides cosmetics, added flat spring buffer spring, double tungsten H2 buffer, chrome bcg with phosphate extractor, BAD lever and oversized mag release, Sig Tango with red dot. Yes it’s a budget build and nothing like most I see on here but she’s mine.
So I obviously just spent a pretty penny on the rifle. I know a good scope is important. Are there any scopes out there that you would reccomend? It’s a 12.5 inch barrel and I plan to use primarily for home defense and recreational shooting. Trying to avoid breaking the bank again but realize I can’t put a bumper sticker on my new Ferrari. Thanks!

Edit: Can you name some good ambi-lowers?
If I wanted an AR15 (5.56mm) SBR, but I'm wrong-handed, what are my options?
My goal is an AR15 sbr that has controls for a left-handed user but is compatible with standard AR15 parts so I can easily find parts for repair/replacement.
Gotta grab some 20 round pmags, the 30 round monopod ain't fun. If I could ever find a unity mlok hot button to put at the 9 o'clock I might consider her done.
The rifle will fire a round and eject it (most of the time) and everywhere says it’s undergassed. I lubricated it before firing the other day and it didn’t fix. I was wondering if the wear on these charging handles and the wear on the roof of the upper receiver had anything to do with it. The rifle is very stiff when i charge it but i chalked it up to the rifle being tight from the factory until the feeding issues. The buffer a carbine spring. Any help is much appreciated, and if i’m missing any important pictures or details let me know!! (The warhammer charging handle is the one ive been using and the other handle is stock)
[UPDATE]
I watched a couple youtube videos and it seems my gas key is not supposed to be getting any resistance from the tube when i slide in the BCG. This seems to be the issue. Any tips to fix it?
Just bought my new 5.56. Needing recommendations on upgrades. This 60round mag has got to go though.
