Muse A has spent years building two lives.

One is polished and ordinary; a comfortable home, weekend grocery runs, lazy Sunday mornings, and a spouse they adore more than anything in the world.

The other is written in blood.

Known only by an infamous alias, Muse A is among the most feared contract killers alive. Governments deny their existence, criminal empires whisper their name, and every organization with enough money knows that if Muse A accepts a contract, someone is going to die.

Muse B has been living the exact same lie.

To the outside world, they're nothing more than Muse A's loving spouse. They complain about work over dinner, kiss them goodbye before every "business trip," and have somehow managed to build a perfectly normal marriage despite the long hours and mysterious bruises. Because behind closed doors, Muse B disappears into another identity entirely--one every intelligence agency, syndicate, and mercenary network recognizes with equal parts fear and respect.

For years, they've hidden the ugliest parts of themselves from the person they love most, each convinced that if the truth ever came out, it would destroy their marriage. Regardless of how their relationship is built upon a menagerie of lies and excuses, regardless of how the spark has begun to leave them, they still commit.

That is, until a contract gone wrong.

This plot is heavily inspired by "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," the early 2000s movie! I love the idea and irony of two world class assassins falling in love and hiding their real identities from one another. It's just such an interesting premise! I think it would make for an amazingly spicy romance as our two deadly lovebirds rediscover eachother entirely!

I’m from Europe. I’m 24F. I’ve been searching for a long-term text RP partner for quite some time now. I was introduced to text roleplay nearly ten years ago by a close friend, and we wrote together for years. Life eventually pulled us in different directions, but I still find myself rereading our old stories sometimes - and honestly, they still make me smile. That is why I’m here!

Before we continue, I’d like to mention that I’m comfortable with darker themes and mature elements in RP, as long as they are not the main focus of the story. I’m mainly looking for a slow-burn experience with meaningful character development, emotional depth, and a well-built storyline.

For fandom settings, I prefer creating original characters rather than playing canon ones. I enjoy building OCs that fit naturally into existing worlds while still feeling unique and personal.

I write in 3rd person POV (past tense), and I’d consider myself a literate writer.  I’m flexible when it comes to characters I play and can write both male and female roles, though I naturally gravitate more toward female characters.

My replies usually range roughly around 3-4 to 7 paragraphs), though I’m flexible depending on the scene and pacing, I'm more than capable of breaking the discord world limit - but for me, roleplay is about storytelling, creativity, and escaping reality for a while - not stressing over word counts. I believe the best writing happens naturally. When writing starts feeling forced or like a chore, it loses its magic, and I’d rather keep that spark alive.

The hauntingly beautiful and rich lore of The Last of Us universe has pulled me backward into the light as I return from a writing hiatus.

A world so gutted and so gorgeous all at once, full of wreckage that nature has been quietly reclaiming for decades. And still inside it, people are still building towards something hopeful. Still reaching for hierarchy, for belonging, for the structure of something that resembles civilization even when it has teeth. I want to write in that medium, drawing inspiration from factions like the WLF and the Seraphites, navigating the infected, and pushing further into original territory. Introducing new cordyceps variants that have had time to mutate and specialize, evolving in ways that even our seasoned survivors would not see coming.

The story’s shape is something I’d rather discover than dictate. Is one of our character’s after vengeance similar to how Ellie had been? Is this a journey for something larger than survival. Thrown into the grinder of moving through territory controlled by a community that takes prisoners. I have no shortage of ideas, set-pieces, landscapes, plot threads. Are we writing in frozen northern winters or midwestern regions where the sun never relents?

I want to thread a fragile line between horror, action, and a slow-burning romance. This world will be ruthless, forcing our characters into frantic, high-stakes adrenaline rushes just to survive the night. I want to explore them leaning on each other through the trauma, making devastating choices where there are no good options, and somehow, against all odds, finding a rare, hard-won peace in the middle of the destruction.

What I don’t have yet is the right partner.

I am looking for a female writer who leads with literary prose and evocative description. Someone for whom quality is instinct and both effort. Someone unafraid to let the world breathe, and equally unafraid to keep the story moving when it should.
