Can't get this idea out of my head

My son and I were listening to The Cars on the drive back to the hotel after the Blue Room show when it hit me that I would LOVE to hear ATW cover "Moving In Stereo". I feel like they would do a killer heavier and moodier version and I can't stop thinking about it. What do you think??

I'm going to their Indy and Cincy shows that are right before Halloween, so maybe we'll get something fun in the spirit of the holiday. Who knows?

australian tour

i've just heard tell they are playing their first ever australian shows later this year, but it's part of the horrid good things festival - ATW don't seem to fill the bill at all

so are these goddamn sexual tyrannosauri going to play any side gigs or what?

Australian tour

All Them Witches have been announced for Good Things Festival… what are the chances of side shows?! I don’t want to see a festival set… they owe us a full tour 😂

Bootlegging live to vinyl

Hey people! Genuine question: Should I bootleg All Them Witches live on KEXP on vinyl?

First, I know it's not legal to bootleg copyrighted material without consent from the band or the legal holder of the music rights. If you're offended, I'm sorry but that is not why I'm starting this topic. So save me your opinion on that please. If there are any reasons why I shouldn't do it, you're welcome to give me some advice on it whatsoever. If you're into legal rights and stuff and know more than me about copyright - be my guest. But please spare me the ethics.

BUT. I want to get into vinyl mastering and distribution and stuff... I need some test material. I was thinking about bootlegging (one of) the KEXP performances of All Them Witches, because they're so damn good. I don't have any interest in making profit. I just want to make x amount of vinyl pressings of these amazing KEXP performances. I will make costs, keep 2 or 3 myself, give, ehhh let's say 5 to friends or family, and sell the rest of it for the same price as the production and distribution.

Does that hold up legally-wise you think? I know radio broadcasts are copyrighted so there is my answer. In other words: Does it hold up legally-wise in such a way that I can sell some to local record stores or to people through payment requests, without getting noticed or snitched?

Also: I'm curious how many of you here would be interested? Again, no interest in profit. I give some to friends and family and the rest would be sold for no more than the production costs and distribution

I know this is thin ice but this is living in my head for too long, and I wanna make this a reality so bad. With nice album cover and stuff. Plus, ehhh big plus, I'd think it'd make some people really happy too.

Again; no profit, no mass production whatsoever. Only good intentions from my side. My sole intentions are to learn how vinyl distribution and production works out, and to make myself and other fans happy.

Concerts in Canada?

Are there ever Canada dates? Just wondering because I would love to see them live, but won't travel to the US.

Thanks
