I feel like I keep seeing negativity about the NYC lineup and I genuinely don’t understand?

Yes, it’s a smaller lineup compared to DC, but you have to remember that the NYC venue is ONE STAGE. They have less availability to book as many artists.

Also, the pricing for NYC is very fair considering the artists I think. A 3-day pass to see the main headliners (MUNA, CRJ, Zara Larsson, Brandi Carlisle, Lola Young) is only $225 which IMO is a steal considering what would be the price for one ticket to see any of these artists on their own solo tour.

Yes, the undercard is weaker but it’s not horrible. For the price, I think the NYC lineup is an incredible value. Especially considering DC’s pricing started at $600…

Prices being what they are and the way the festival has changed these last few years I'm loathe to buy presale without knowing the lineup, but if it brings the prices down any...might have to just say fuck it. But neither the link they sent to announce it nor the follow up one to say it's open are working for me, and I can't find it online of course

Has anyone successfully gotten a response from the ATG Support email? I bought a 3 day pass by mistake and need to exchange it for a one-day pass, and reached out to support for assistance. It's been over a week and I've gotten complete radio silence so far.

I would just sell my ticket and purchase the one day pass myself, but sales are disabled through Ticketmaster.

We generally avoid venues where the stage is not visible from the lawn. So Merriweather is a no go for us no matter who is playing; we’ll drive farther to see the stage. But the line up was too good for us to pass up especially since we didn’t love other festival line ups this year (Ocean’s Calling would be our preferred). We also hoped since it was more than one stage it would be better. Just to prepare us for disappointment - as a festival how hard is it to see the stages? (we’re GA like we are at most concerts we go to)

The cost of a 2 day pavilion ticket for ATG is more than double what it was 2 years ago. That is insane. It’s pure greed.

Tickets for ATG are more expensive than coachella, this is actually insane.

This used to be one of my favorite festivals because we don’t typically get a lot of big names in the DMV.

Me and many others are frustrated that this festival is being run more and more like a “luxury”. It’s a luxury experience price tag, without the luxury experience to back it.

They just keep increasing prices more and more without delivering a better product. How much money can we squeeze out of the every day person? Let’s keep increasing prices, so only the top 1% of people can afford to come.

ATG is part of the problem of the K shaped economy but claiming they are a concert for everyone. They took a concert built on a safe space for the queer community event, who are middle and lower class and priced them out, so now only richest people can afford to go.

I've been to plenty of concerts but never to a music festival. I am only going to be there on Friday and I'll be by myself. Does anyone have any tips or advice that would be helpful? Like what time should I get there? Or is there anything I should bring? Any good places to stand with General Admission? Thank you 🙏
