The first album is nothing but bangers from start to finish. I’m an album person so I’m always looking for enjoyable albums I can play all the way through and buy on vinyl. Does anybody have any recommendations for any other perfect albums? Any genre; but preferably stuff with a psychedelic element to it. I’m trapped at work 4 more hours. Please help 🙏 thank you all.
Ended up being front rail, stage left for their 9:30 Club show on 7/25. It was the weekend before my birthday, I was on a few substances (🌲🍄🟫🍻) and had a hell of a time that night hearing and watching them play. This was my third time seeing a show of theirs, all have been in DC. Took a few videos as well that I’ll post later. The concert pic was an accidental one after I stopped taking a video, but it suits the vibe of the evening. One of my favorite bands to ever see live, I’ll go every time they’re playing a show in the area.
Ended up getting a setlist from Matt, their drummer, after the show. Talked to him for a few minutes as well and shook hands, a solid dude! ✌️🧡
This started as a small playlist in 2024, but I kept coming back to it and adding more, and somewhere along the way this whole sound became my favorite. It’s mostly modern psych and garage rock, with some surf and space influences. A lot of tracks feel pretty progressive and experimental within the current music scene.
I like that it doesn’t all sound the same. Some of it’s more spacey, while other songs get a bit more raw and garage-ish (maybe even slightly punk), or both at the same time. These genres mix pretty well I think.
I still add to it whenever I find something that fits. Figured I’d share so people can give me some more suggestions. Have fun.
