Allergy? Insect bite?
Just saw my dogs face a bit swollen.. can someone confirm if this may be allergy or insect bite?
Calling in the vet tomorrow but wanted to check for reassurance. Any treatment meanwhile?

I find her in the most awkward positions.
I’m at my wits end. I have a beautiful American Bully in rescue after he was put on the shelters euthanasia list, but I cannot find a placement for him. He’s been through full training and is about a year old. So sweet and well mannered with strangers and kids, unsure how he is with other dogs. 110 lbs. He was almost certainly backyard bred but he’s not a bad looking bully at all. I would take him in a heartbeat if I had my own place. He’s currently living with his trainer and has no deadline whatsoever, he will stay there until the perfect family adopts him, but I love him and just want him to go home. Wondering if anyone may have advice about getting bully type dogs adopted.
UPDATE more info:
In SoCal near Los Angeles, energetic due to being young and loves destroying stuff but he does well being redirected to a bully stick or other chew. Loves kids but would need supervision with them at least at first just due to his size (110lbs). I think he’d be alright with other dogs but needs a slow proper intro. I don’t know if this subreddit allows adoption posts so I’m just doing this to seek advice, if I am allowed to put up an adoption flyer in here I’d love to.
UPDATE trying to add pics for yall
My guy is tough on toys, like seriously “shred it in three minutes flat” tough! I suspect that is common amongst many pittie / bully breeds.
So what have you found to be durable toys for yours? Currently our guy likes the ‘Tuffy’ brand of toys and they last about three or four days - which is remarkable for him.
He doesn’t chew on anything else, never has - except bully sticks (which he loves) and toys that we give him … those he destroys, and does so with absolute joy 🤗 (oh right, he will occasionally destroy my socks after a sweaty hike if he manages to sneak one from me - it’s like catnip for him 🤣)
I’m looking for toys / stuffies and we don’t mind if he eventually destroys it - just want something that actually gives him a bit of a challenge. Thanks for any recommendations you may have … if you can show pics of your pittie with the toy still partially intact, even better 👍🏽
Our personal best is 19’9”. Hoping we break 20ft on our second day tomorrow! He’s such a cool dog. ☺️
