When we say we like an opening sequence, are we just talking about the music, or do the visuals matter too?

Generally, I like opening themes (like 98% of the time); I’m rarely disappointed in that regard.

So when I compare openings and say I prefer this one or that one, I base my opinion largely on the animation and how well it syncs with the music.

I’m the kind of person who doesn’t skip the opening, except when it’s really, really bad—and usually it’s the animation that’s the problem.

I’d like to know if, when you like an opening, you take the animation into account or not at all?

I've been listening to the opening theme "HEARTLOUD" from the anime MAO and I'm trying to understand the music theory and production behind it.

I can't find the name of this song, I suspect it might be the opening theme of an anime (not sure)

I heard this music in one of the videos earlier, but the commentators didn't know what song it was. I decided to use Shazam and Soundhound, but nothing came of it. Then I wrote a prompt in chat GPT, and it said that this music could be from an anime. Maybe someone knows?
