If you search for the best IPTV service 2026, you'll find a hundred posts recommending whatever

provider is paying for placement. I took a different approach: spent three months systematically

testing seven providers with the same criteria, same devices, same test channels.

One is still running on my TV. Here's the full breakdown of what I tested, what failed, and why

👉🏻 VIKINGITV.UK the only one worth recommending.

How I Tested Each IPTV Provider

Same test conditions across all seven services:

● Live sports load test— Premier League fixture, NFL game, UFC prelims

● Peak event stress test — tested each service during a live UFC PPV (the hardest

real-world test)

● Multi-region channels— US, UK, Canadian, and German channels checked on every

provider

● Stream quality check— 4K claim verification, buffer frequency over 2 continuous hours

● Channel availability audit— tested 200+ channels per provider to verify real vs.

advertised counts

● Support response test — sent a message to each provider, measured response time and

quality

● EPG accuracy — verified programme guide data was populated and correct

What Went Wrong With the Other Six

Providers

Without naming all of them:

Two providers buffered and downgraded quality during the UFC PPV. One dropped to 480p

mid-main event. For anyone paying for PPV coverage, that's a dealbreaker.

One provider had strong US channels but the UK and Canadian feeds were largely non-functional.

They advertised 65,000+ channels — realistically about 25–30% loaded without error. The rest

were dead links inflating the count.

Two providers had acceptable stream quality but customer support was effectively non-existent.

Messages went unanswered for 2–3 days. For a service that can have technical issues at any

time, no support means no reliability.

One provider had solid streams but a broken EPG — channels loaded but the programme guide

showed no data. Functionally usable but not a polished product.

One provider performed well but priced at with PPV events as paid add-ons. At that

price point you're back in the range of official streaming services.

3D movies out of sync, or playing in 2D

Has anybody else had issues with out of sync 3D movies or movies incorrectly labelled as 3D, but only playing in 2D?

I have Legends of the Guardians (the owl movie), the 2D version seems fine , but 3D is clearly out by a bit. Also Moana is labelled as 3D, is in the 3D section, but only plays in 2D.

If someone has these can you see if it’s happening for you too. These are both played and purchased through the store, UK account.

Apple Vision Pro ; worth waiting more?

Long story short, I’ve been craving the Vision Pro for ages.
First time of attempting to get it, I thought it would be better to upgrade my desktop so got myself a 5070ti.
The second time(about a month ago), I instead got myself a AirPods Max gen2(l already own 2 AirPods Pro gen2s)
And about a week ago I justified it with getting a 17 pro

So u see the situation I’m in……
Now the next logical thing is upgrading my MacBook but it’s still a m3 chip.

And I’m about to lose it. So before I make any decisions I brought it here.

Should I buy the current Vision Pro or wait for the supposed apple glasses? Or simply buy a new MacBook
My concern is that I really struggle to see the merit of the meta rayban displays whereas I clearly see it on the Vision Pro.(I don’t like the look of the fixed screen on the rayban displays)

Any advice would be a huge welcome:)

I built a basketball shooting trainer for Vision Pro because I couldn't find one [Video]

Couldn't find the Vision Pro basketball app I wanted, so I built one. 30-second demo below.

I got the headset a few months ago and kept opening the App Store hoping someone had made one. Nobody had, so here we are.

You see a hoop in your living room, pick up the ball with your hands, and shoot. Real arc, real rim physics.

https://youtu.be/ItteRumSsXc

The release velocity took me forever to tune. Mapping hand motion to a ball arc that feels right is harder than it looks. Still rough in a few spots.

Looking for feedback from anyone here who shoots IRL. Does the release in the video look right to you?

Happy to answer questions about how it's built(RealityKit + ARKit).

I think this is the closest I have gotten to Apple Immersive Video quality outside Apple’s own content 🌆🎥 (8K VR180 Downtown Miami) Self Promotion Saturdays

One thing I keep seeing in this sub is people asking for more immersive content on Apple Vision Pro beyond Apple’s official Immersive Video catalog.

So I’ve been pushing VR180 production as far as possible with consumer-accessible hardware and workflows to see how close independent creators can get to that “presence” feeling Apple’s content has.

I just released an 8K VR180 immersive tour of Downtown Miami designed specifically for Vision Pro viewing:

• Kaseya Center

• Bayside Marketplace

• Biscayne Bay boat ride

• Water-level skyline shots

This wasn’t shot on Apple’s $30,000+ immersive camera systems or a Hollywood pipeline. But with high bitrate exports, careful stabilization, depth-focused framing, and lots of obsessive tweaking, I think this gets close enough visually to be a good free alternative.

For people with the newer M5 Vision Pro models, YouTube now supports full 8K playback in the headset, so you can watch this directly in the YouTube app at 4320s quality for maximum detail.

People with the M2 Vision Pro version can also watch it for free in full quality on DeoVR, which currently handles high-resolution VR playback really well.

YouTube:

https://youtu.be/XYpeS8r6rpo

DeoVR:

http://deovr.com/u2bovi

A few viewing tips:

• Manually set YouTube quality to 4320s (8K)

• Use headphones or AirPods

• Watch in a darker room

Also would genuinely love feedback from Vision Pro users here, especially around sharpness, depth, motion smoothness, camera movement, narration, and overall immersion. I’ve been reading a lot of comments from people wanting more “pure presence” style immersive experiences similar to Apple’s content.

Based on prior feedback, I’m currently working on alternate versions without narration that focus entirely on natural ambient sound and environmental immersion. Those versions should start releasing soon, since a lot of people seem to prefer quieter cinematic experiences where it feels like you’re simply there inside the environment.

I spent a month filming Europe in 8K VR180 just to push the Vision Pro to its absolute limits. The realism is getting dangerously close to teleportation. (Free / No Paywall) 🌍🎥 Self Promotion Saturdays

Just spent an entire month filming across Europe specifically for the Apple Vision Pro, and I genuinely think these are the highest-quality immersive travel videos I’ve ever produced.

After watching the footage back inside the headset, I truly believe this is some of the best immersive travel content currently available outside of Apple’s own proprietary productions shot on the URSA Cine Immersive 30K system. The realism is getting dangerously close to teleportation.

Before packing my bags, I completely rebuilt my workflow from the ground up to solve the bottlenecks immersive creators have been chasing for years. The jump in quality from my older videos is massive:

  • Using Newly Released stabilization pipeline
  • Highly precise depth tuning
  • Improved color science & better motion pacing
  • Significantly higher bitrate exports with custom compression handling

The craziest part is that the new M5 Apple Vision Pro can now stream YouTube VR180 content in full 8K directly through the native YouTube visionOS app. We finally have the effortless clarity this medium deserves.

But don't worry—if you're using the M2 Vision Pro, I’m hosting the exact same master files on DeoVR so you can stream the full 8K immersive files completely for free. I just want as many people as possible experiencing what this headset can actually do.

This Week’s Premiere: Exploring Portugal’s Jaw-Dropping Cliffs & Sea Caves (Portimão)

We explore the insane cliffs of Ponta da Piedade, hidden beaches, glowing turquoise water, and take a private boat directly into the Benagil Cave. The depth and lighting inside the cave are unreal—some of the shots genuinely feel like CGI when viewed in the Vision Pro.

👉 Watch on YouTube *(M5 AVP users: stream directly in native 8K)* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kUaWFve3ys

👉 Watch on DeoVR (M2 AVP users: stream full 8K for free here)

http://deovr.com/xb4vjb

🗺️ The 3-Month European Roadmap: I’ll be dropping a brand new immersive episode every single weekend. Coming up next:

  • 🇵🇹 Lisbon
  • 🇵🇹 Porto
  • 🇪🇸 Valencia
  • 🇪🇸 Majorca
  • 🇪🇸 Ibiza
  • 🇪🇸 Cádiz
  • 🇪🇸 Motril
  • 🇪🇸 Melilla

I’ve become completely obsessed with pushing immersive travel content as far as possible because the AVP is the first headset where this medium truly feels transformative.

Would genuinely love your feedback on this premiere!

Is Apple Vision Pro actually worth it in 2026?

I’ve been seriously considering getting an Apple Vision Pro, but I’m still unsure if it’s worth the price for everyday use.

The hardware and display quality look incredible, and Apple positions it as a “spatial computer” with ultra-high-resolution micro-OLED displays and eye/hand tracking.

Just bought my first AVP! What's the best headband?

Hey Reddit, super excited, in a few days my AVP will arrive.

It comes with the Solo Knit Band, which I know is awful. But what should I buy instead? Is there any consensus on what the best headband is?

I will use it mostly for work and traveling. I'd like to use it for 6-8 hours a day if possible.

Edit: In the same vein, how do I find the best light seal? Do I visit an Apple Store for a fitting, or are there better third-party options?

Edit 2: thanks for all your answers! I decided to go with the CMA 1 for now. It doesn’t only look like a solid choice, it also spares me from buying a light seal and maybe even the lenses. So with 69 bucks I’m all set.

Gurman estimates that the next AVP won’t arrive for two more years… at least

From MacRumors: (take with your normal Gurman sized grain of salt)

>Gurman resisted suggestions that Apple has walked away from the headset entirely. The well-connected reporter says the company continues to develop new technologies and materials behind the scenes with the goal of eventually producing a cheaper, lighter enclosed headset. That said, no such product is apparently in active development, and the long-rumored "Vision Air" was canceled last year.

>If a new Vision Pro-style device does materialize, Gurman says he wouldn't expect it for "around two more years at least," given that the bulk of Apple's mixed-reality hardware talent has been pulled onto other projects like lightweight smart glasses.

>Indeed, Apple's smart glasses project is now the focus, and former Vision Products Group members have been reassigned to that team, as well as shoring up its Siri chatbot development, not to mention other AI wearables such as the AirPods with cameras and a planned AI pendant.

Best IPTV Service in USA & Canada 2026 – My Honest Experience with smartiflix .org (Stable Streams + Massive Channel List)

I’ve honestly been through way too many IPTV providers over the last few years.

If you’re in the USA or Canada and you’ve tried IPTV before, you probably already know the common problems:

- buffering during live sports

- channels randomly offline

- sellers disappearing after payment

- terrible support

- “4K” streams that don’t even look HD

After wasting money on multiple services, I finally found one that has actually been stable enough for daily use:

👉 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐱 .𝐨𝐫𝐠

---

# 🔥 Why I Kept Using 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐱 .𝐨𝐫𝐠

### ✔️ Huge Channel Selection

Includes a massive collection of:

- USA channels

- Canadian channels

- UK & European content

- Sports, entertainment, movies & live TV

Everything I usually watch was already included.

---

### ✔️ Stable Sports Streaming

This was the biggest thing for me.

I’ve watched:

- NFL

- NBA

- NHL

- UFC

- Boxing

- PPV events

…and streams stayed surprisingly stable even during busy hours.

---

### ✔️ Massive VOD Library

Movies and TV shows are updated regularly, and the HD quality has honestly been much better than most IPTV services I tested.

---

### ✔️ Fast Channel Switching

One thing I noticed quickly was how fast channels loaded compared to other providers.

No endless loading screens every few minutes.

---

### ✔️ Works on Multiple Devices

I tested it on:

- Firestick

- Smart TVs

- Android devices

- PC / Laptop

- Mobile phones

Everything connected smoothly without issues.

---

# 📺 IPTV Apps That Worked Best

I personally used:

- TiviMate

- IPTV Smarters Pro

- IBO Player

- Hot Player

- VU IPTV

- 8K Player

No compatibility problems.

---

# ⚡ Setup Was Surprisingly Easy

  1. Visit the website

  2. Choose your IPTV package

  3. Receive login / Xtream Codes details

  4. Install your IPTV player

  5. Add credentials

  6. Start streaming

Setup only took a few minutes.

---

# 💡 Why I Prefer IPTV Over Cable Now

For me, IPTV basically replaced:

- cable TV

- sports subscriptions

- multiple streaming apps

Having live TV, sports, movies, and VOD all in one place is honestly way more convenient.

---

# 🧠 Final Verdict

No IPTV provider is perfect obviously, but after testing a lot of different services recently, 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐱 .𝐨𝐫𝐠 has honestly been one of the more reliable options I’ve used for USA & Canada streaming.

If your current IPTV constantly buffers during sports or becomes unstable during peak hours, this one feels much more dependable overall.

💬 Curious if anyone else here has tried it recently?

Best IPTV Service in 2026? My Honest Experience After Testing Multiple IPTV Subscriptions

👉 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐱 .𝐨𝐫𝐠

I’ve been trying different IPTV providers for a while now looking for something that actually works consistently in the USA, UK, and Canada without constant buffering or random channel outages.

Like most people, I got tired of IPTV services that look great at first but become unstable after a few days — especially during live sports or peak evening hours.

After testing several IPTV subscriptions recently, the one I ended up using the most was 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐱 .𝐨𝐫𝐠.

Here’s my honest experience after using it regularly:

---

# 📺 Streaming Quality & Stability

This was the biggest thing for me.

Most IPTV providers struggle once traffic gets heavy, but this one stayed surprisingly stable most of the time.

What I noticed:

✔ Fast channel loading

✔ Smooth HD streaming quality

✔ Less buffering during peak hours

✔ Stable sports streams

✔ Good performance during live events

If you’re looking for:

- stable IPTV

- IPTV without buffering

- reliable sports streaming

- smooth live TV performance

…this one honestly worked better than most providers I tested.

---

# 🌍 Channel Selection & VOD

The channel lineup was actually pretty solid.

It includes:

- USA channels

- UK channels

- Canadian channels

- Sports & entertainment

- International content

- Movies & TV series

The VOD library was updated regularly and worked much better than expected.

---

# 📱 Device Compatibility

I tested the service on:

- Firestick

- Android TV

- Smart TV

- Smartphone

- PC / Laptop

Everything connected smoothly without any major setup issues.

---

# 🔥 IPTV Apps That Worked Well

I personally used:

- TiviMate

- IPTV Smarters Pro

- IBO Player

- Hot Player

- VU IPTV

- 8K Player

No compatibility problems at all.

---

# 💬 Support & Overall Experience

Another thing I noticed was the support quality.

Compared to many IPTV providers I’ve used before, responses were actually fast and helpful, which honestly surprised me.

If you’ve used IPTV services before, you already know how rare decent support can be.

---

# ⭐ Final Verdict

If you’re searching for:

- best IPTV service in 2026

- stable IPTV for USA, UK & Canada

- IPTV with less buffering

- reliable live sports streaming

- good VOD & live TV coverage

…then 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐱 .𝐨𝐫𝐠 has honestly been one of the more reliable IPTV providers I’ve tested recently.

No IPTV service is perfect obviously, but this one has definitely been more stable than most subscriptions I’ve tried before.

💬 Curious what IPTV services everyone else is currently using.

Message from Mods about IPTV Posts

Hello! We have tried to take care of the IPTV posts and tried to report the issue to Reddit for allowing spam. We as mods have also ensured that we ban these accounts but unfortunately this is a losing battle since it’s easy and quick to create new fake accounts.

We will keep on top of this and remove any new IPTV posts and block those users.

Best IPTV for USA, UK & Canada (2026) – Changed Providers Multiple Times This Year… This Is the One I Actually Kept Using

Honestly, finding a stable IPTV service in 2026 feels harder than it should be.

Every provider promises:

- “No buffering”

- “Ultra HD streaming”

- “Fastest servers”

- “100,000+ channels”

…but after a few days:

- live sports start lagging

- channels randomly disappear

- streams freeze during peak hours

- apps become unstable every evening

I mainly watch USA, UK & Canada channels — football, NBA, UFC, movies, and live TV — so I just wanted something reliable enough for everyday use.

After trying multiple IPTV services recently, the one I’ve actually stayed with is:

👉 𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 .𝐨𝐫𝐠

---

# Why I Ended Up Keeping It

The biggest difference for me was consistency.

Compared to most IPTV providers I tested:

✔️ channels loaded quickly

✔️ sports streams stayed stable

✔️ less buffering during busy hours

✔️ USA / UK / Canada channels worked reliably

✔️ HD quality looked smooth and clean

✔️ setup was simple and fast

even during evening traffic, streams stayed surprisingly stable.

--

# My Setup

Main device:

- Firestick 4K

Apps I used:

- TiviMate

- IPTV Smarters Pro

- IBO Player

Everything connected smoothly.

---

# Also Worked Well on Other Devices

I tested it on:

- Smart TVs

- Android devices

- PC / Laptop

- Mobile phones

No compatibility problems.

---

# Honest Opinion

No IPTV service is perfect obviously, but after testing a lot of different providers recently, 𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 .𝐨𝐫𝐠 has honestly been one of the more reliable options for USA, UK & Canada streaming.

If your current IPTV constantly buffers during sports or becomes unusable during peak hours, this one feels much more dependable overall.

💬 Anyone else finally find an IPTV provider that actually stays stable?

Improved Mac Virtual Display

Building an open-source Mac Virtual Display alternative for Apple Vision Pro - looking for suggestions

I've been building VirtualDisplayPro, a from-scratch replacement for Apple's built-in Mac Virtual Display feature, with three concrete goals:

  1. Lower latency. Apple's stock Mac Virtual Display sits around ~60 ms motion-to-photon. I'm aiming meaningfully under that on a wired link, while staying competitive on Wi-Fi.
  2. Higher refresh rate. Stream the Mac display at 90 Hz (vs the lower cap Apple uses), with a path to 100/120 Hz if the hardware encoder allows.
  3. First-class Developer Strap support. The Gen 2 Developer Strap (USB-C, 20 Gbps, Thunderbolt-capable, Oct 2025) is a huge bandwidth win that no third-party app exploits yet. VirtualDisplayPro auto-prefers the strap when plugged in and falls back to Wi-Fi cleanly.

Where it is right now

  • Mac app creates a custom virtual display at three resolutions (Standard 5K, Wide 6.5K, Ultrawide 8K) using the new ObjC CGVirtualDisplay* API that shipped in macOS 26.
  • ScreenCaptureKit binds to it, VideoToolbox HEVC in low-latency mode encodes at 90 Hz with hardware acceleration. Quality presets for Low / Medium / High / Wired.
  • UDP video transport with MTU-aware fragmentation and out-of-order reassembly. Mac advertises on Bonjour, ready for a Vision Pro client to discover.
  • Vision Pro receiver code (UDP listener, HEVC decoder, AVSampleBufferDisplayLayer rendering) is written; the Vision Pro Xcode app target is in progress.

Live recording dumps a real .h265 to disk that QuickTime plays back — encoder is provably correct.

What's coming

  • Curved / immersive surface mode (cylindrical mesh in RealityKit, fed by TextureResource.DrawableQueue).
  • HDR pipeline (Main10, Rec.2020 PQ).
  • System audio routing via CoreAudio process tap.
  • Keyboard / trackpad redirection from Vision Pro back to Mac.
  • Cursor-position foveal blur (poor man's foveation, since Apple gates real eye-tracking from third parties).

Why not use Apple's new FoveatedStreaming framework?

I looked into it — it's a thin client wrapper around NVIDIA CloudXR, and Apple's reference endpoint is a Windows-only C# app. CloudXR doesn't run on macOS. So it's the wrong shape for a Mac→Vision Pro mirror. Going custom transport.

What I want from this thread

  1. Suggestions. What features do you most want from a custom Mac Virtual Display? Multi-display support? Different resolutions? Custom curvatures? Window/space management?
  2. Collaborators. I'm looking for 1–2 people who'd enjoy hacking on this. Specifically helpful: visionOS / RealityKit experience, low-latency networking (UDP/QUIC, FEC), or Metal compute shader work for the foveal blur. Sideload-only for now; planning eventual public distribution.
  3. Real-world data. If you have a Gen 2 Developer Strap and would be willing to run an iperf3 test once we have the receiver working, that'd be incredibly useful for tuning bitrates.

Drop a comment or DM me if any of this resonates. Repo will go public as soon as the visionOS app target is wired up and the end-to-end loop is verified.
