I’ve had an amazing run for the last 30+ games, then this guy comes up behind me while I’m looting and shoots me.
I’ve got no issue with “protecting” myself. The issue is, whoever starts first, usually wins.
We need hostile players to be “announced” somehow. Like a “hostile player near you” or “hostile player in lobby”. This way, we can be careful, get out of the lobby, put out mines… whatever.

Anyways, this happened on Dam Battlegrounds in the control tower. I blocked out the name of this player in the video because I was unsure if he would or wouldnt consent to being ousted on reddit. Just a courtesy. This is not a bash or bad mouthing, I actually respected this play and am applauding it. I was pissed at first but later realized how perfect this went for him. On a strategic level and comedic level. Enjoy =)
I’m actually all for the PVP but what’s up with the people that just hide in corners especially at quest areas? I never get approached in a chivalrous manner for a fight! I never get a warning or anything lol and it kinda sucks. Sometimes I’m just trying to get simple things done around the map and then there’s Timmy drooling at the mouth just absolutely vapid and foaming at the mouth as he stares at the screen for 15-20 mins ratting as many people as he can.
I know it’s part of the game! I agree it’s cool sometimes but it just turns me off so much that in solo matchmaking, most of my fights are people that just sneak up on me all the time :/

i have been playing arc since it came out and i have went through all the stages of a Raider, i tried the friendly approach which is how i played most of the game
i have tried the friendly but shoot if you get shoot tactic aswel
i have also turned into a degenerate machine killing monster but my problem started deriving when i started acting evil
for some reason shoot on sight is considered a rat move now mind you i even wear the Rat skin so people know im not friendly at all yet people sit there cry and complain that im ratting
when they ask me are you friendly? i say no and i go ahead and do my thing and i still get called a rat
some of you guys are playing the game like if its a dang pve and the fact of the matter is that is not
if a player decides to kill another player it doesn’t mean hes a rat it just means hes playing the game like intended
