My choice 💯✊😎
Currently working on a screenplay about the progression of drug addiction. I’ve always wanted to write a story & screenplay about such individuals who excel innocently from experimentation at a young age to full fledged addiction later in life , wondering how and why it happened .
A few of my favorite films about addiction are :
The panic in needle park
Drugstore cowboy
Trainspotting
Fear & loathing
A beautiful Boy
Traffic
Shame
Leaving Las Vegas
The wolf of Wall Street
Requiem For A Dream
Permanent Midnight
Owning Mahoney
Anything suggestions ? Anything I’m missing ?
Anyone ? What are the absolute best coming of age films ? Outside of the obvious choices like the 400 blows, stand by me ,boyhood , breakfast club , Ferris bueller, dazed & confused etc . Any recommendations ? International? More edgier obscure underground films that aren’t mainstream ?
This art made by me with a ballpoint pen represents the reality of God's care. Often we do not see what surrounds us, but the Good Shepherd is always ahead, being the unshakable shield between our fragility and the fury of the enemy.

No matter how great the roar around you, the hand that protects you is infinitely greater. Take a rest. You are safe.
Hi everyone,
I'm an independent filmmaker, and my short film Belladonna is currently competing for the Sofia Coppola Award on Decentralized Pictures.
Belladonna is a pseudo-historical short set during the Hundred Years' War. It follows two aristocratic women who deliberately put belladonna into their eyes in pursuit of beauty, gradually blinding themselves. The film uses this fictional premise to explore privilege, perception, and the things people choose not to see.
Public voting is part of the selection process, so if you'd like to support the project, I'd really appreciate it if you could:
• Create a free account
• Vote for Belladonna
• Share the link if you know someone who might be interested
It only takes a couple of minutes, and every vote genuinely helps independent filmmakers.
Thank you.

If violence in our culture is so freely glorified and accepted , then why are we as a society so shocked when something tragic happens in real life ? 🤔Some food for thought .
Recently I watched irreversible it's a Rollercoaster of emotions vulgarity brutal dark and love, all of these in its purest form nothing held back.
Idea for a film I’m working on , “ What happens to people when they become disconnected—from society, from others, from themselves” ?
Is social media and technology bringing us together , or slowly destroying us ? Was Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World a devastating premonition ? 🤔
