Deel holds my funded payment for a week own money for no reason
My June invoice s fully funded by my client. The money is sitting in Deel's account right now. But my payout won't be released until over a week.
Think about that model for a second: they hold funded payments until an arbitrary date, and the only bridge across the gap they created is a paid product. The float on thousands of contractors' funded-but-held invoices, plus advance fees from the ones who can't wait that's revenue built on delay.
Questions for other contractors:
- Has anyone EVER gotten a funded invoice released before the due date? Even once?
- Does anyone know if Deel earns interest on funded-but-unreleased balances?
- is there any official policy justification for not releasing funded payments?
