Hello, NTs! :) I hope you are all doing well.
I have recently started a new job and I am very excited! However, I don’t have anyone who can serve as an emergency contact, and I know they’re going to ask for one.
What do I do? What should I tell them? Can you get in trouble for not having an emergency contact? Can you get fired?
ADHD here. I personally have an internal monologue - I mostly think in words and I can "hear" my own voice "saying" the thoughts in my head. I often have multiple channels of thought at a time, not like external voices in my head but just my own thoughts overlapping and competing with each other. There is almost always a random tab in my mind playing music.
I can visualize images in my mind's eye as well. But I've heard that some people don't "hear" themselves thinking in their head and I'm curious what that experience is like! Please share :)
