Please Help. Problem with Adm__ission Eligibility. Can I still get ad-mis-sion in VIT due to Boards marks?

I have got 67% in total in MH State Boards. But my PCM aggregate is 55%. VIT states that the aggregate should be minimum 60%.

Can I still get adm . ission if I tell them that my total is 67%.

Please help as this is my last option

Mods please allow the post I need the help coz this is the only option available now

taking mechanical cuz it interests me, and also planning to go for masters in Germany most probably. which of these is best for me considering placements don't really matter much cuz I'm going for masters?

People who are already studying at VIT , can you help me about what is the difference in course between CSE branch(AND specialization) And IT( INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)

So i got a 29k rank and I am filling out my choices today, and I'm getting all the OPTIONS IN CS related choices in cat 5( CORE, AIML , AIDS)( cs with data science and cyber in cat 4) , and I just wanted to ask how the IT branch is different from CS here in Vellore.( And should I put IT BEFORE CS with Cybersecurity and bioinformatics)

Please help a Junior out , Thankyou.

Admission fee Clarification

Hi, so my brother has given VITEE and he has got 9xx rank. He has also given JEE Advanced today but is unsure about his rank (maybe 7k-8k or worse 15-20k).

Tommorrow is the deadline for fee submission, and he will have be to pay around 2 Lakhs if he wants to freeze the seat.

In refund rules, it is written that VIT follow UGC norms. Can anyone please clarify if refund of fees is possible (5 or 10k deduction works).

17k rank gang. Seniors, what cse specs/categories are realistic in vellore and chennai.

got 17k in viteee and trying to understand what's realistically possible during counselling.

I'm mainly interested in cse specializations and only looking at vellore and chennai campus. not considering ap/bhopal.

can seniors/helpful people tell me

  1. What category might be possible at my rank?

  2. Which cse specialization should i prioritize?

  3. What would be a smart preference order?

if anyone else had a similar rank,pls share your rank,branch,campus,category alloted.

i've already messed up my phase 1 choice filling with a terrible preference order and didn't get a seat alloted .so i really don't wanna make the same shit mistake again.

What's the possibility of getting BTech biotechnology Cat 2 at VIT Chennai with 38k rank??

Anybody here know the real Cut off for btech biotechnology in vit

And BTech biotechnology is introduced this year in Chennai so does it make sense to get admission in Chennai

I am also getting it in LPU which one's better??

Help needed regarding choice filling, counselling Phase 2

My rank is 23,326 in viteee and my counselling therefore is in Phase 2.
I only want to go to the Vellore campus ane money isnt an issue, I can go with category 5 too.
So if I put Cse core and all the cse with specialization from category 1-5 and then IT in the last from 1-4.
will I get one? IT will be in the last because i really want Cse core or any cse specialization.
Is it possible to get one?

38.9k ; Can I get Cse in Vellore/Chennai with atleast decent specialisation.(Any CAT). Please help

My rank is 38.9k and I am hoping for CSE in either Vellore or Chennai and I am not sure if would get it as there is very low information about previous Counselling cut off's for specialisation branches.

Any replies would be appreciated

Vitee counselling
