Do you think things are calmer in NZ ?- ie no ram raids & jewellery Shop raids?

Do you think it feels like there are no cars driving into malls ram raiding or gangs youth raiding shops, cars and homes in the last few years? The police could do nothing then - will the same happen again if there’s change of govt and police hands are tied again?

I wonder if rents will be going up with the Auckland rates rise?

Sounds like everyone will be absorbing costs of the new rates rise in Auckland - are Landlords putting the rental prices up too?

Council tax in NZ is too high...All longer term tourists in NZ use Councils free parks, toilets and rubbish facilities, plus roading. A visitor charge is needed when entering NZ.

NZ really needs to charge a visitor charge for non citizens coming into NZ for a minimum period of time or longer and cut down on rate payers having to pay so much for essential services.
