Pirate Ship in Ayr 🏴‍☠️

Went to see the pirate ship at Ayr Harbour yesterday. I didn’t go on the tour and tried to get as close as possible to get good pictures

Thank you Prestwick, Moncton, Ayr and all the rest.

I'm a Canadian woman, I've never been abroad

except to the Carribean and the United States. So this was quite a journey.

I landed in Edinburgh and felt quite lost, although I had a lovely breakfast and some help their. I managed to get a train ticket but I didn't understand the split ticket and a wonderful older lady called Margaret helped me catch the train to Glasgow. She was going to another part of Ayrshire but helped me get to my train.

There was a very helpful young person in Glasgow station WH Smith who got me set up with a charger for my phone.

The train station attendant, the lady at the Adamton Country House, various bus drivers and riders were all of fin suggestions what to do, where to eat.

I made my way to Ayr cemetery, found my way with the help of fellow named Jim. I spent a while at my Grandfather's grave (he was in a plane crash at Prestwick 85 years ago, a Canadian Radio operator for the RAF)

This morning at check out I had another chat with the ladies at the Adamton. Such a friendly welcoming place.

I hope to get back and if I never do, Ayrshire will always be in my heart.
